Panini America has revealed it plans for the 2013 Fan Expo Canada.

The Fan Expo Canada has a large sports segment for the first time and Panini has prepared unique giveaways. The four-day show starts August 22 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Panini will have a wrapper redemption program and will allow collectors to trade up long-standing redemptions.

Here are Panini’s plans for the show:

Wrapper Redemption Program – Purchase select boxes of Panini NHL products from the show floor to participate in the wrapper redemption program. Bring an unopened box to the Panini booth and exchange the empty wrappers for packs.

Product Redemption Packs Per Box
2012-13 Limited Hockey 10
2012-13 Rookie Anthology Hockey 10
2013-14 Score Hockey Hobby Jumbo 8
2013-14 Score Hockey Retail 5

Collectors can find Cracked Ice Prizm, Cracked Ice Prizm autographs, Lava Flow parallels along with other special cards specifically for the Fan Expo Canada.

Live Redemption Trade-Up Program – This is for customers holding redemptions pending for four months or longer in the Panini system. Collectors can combine the redemptions for one card. For example, if a collector is holding three redemptions with a Beckett value of $50, that person can get one card with a $50 Beckett value through a grab bag. There are three levels of $50, $100 and $200.

For this show, the redemptions will be available for hockey cards only.
