Adding to the long list of attractions at this year’s National Sports Collectors Convention, Panini America premiered its presence in the VIP package today.

Inside pre-stuffed bags, VIP attendees will find a four-card Panini base set headlined by company spokesmen Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin and John Wall. Collectors will also find a coupon that can be exchanged at
the manufacturer’s corporate booth for two additional “mystery cards.”
Show-goers with SuperVIP status will snag a less mysterious, but still alluring Rookie Card set. The premium package coupon can be exchanged for six 2011 rookie luminaries:  Cam Newton, Mark Ingram, A.J. Green, Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker and Terrelle Pryor — who will be making his cardboard debut at the show.

Stay tuned to for more information about the hobby hullabaloo happening next month.

sorry Dave M. I’m sorry we can’t all be from the 50’s and do cool things like tell African Americans to get to the back of the bus. Did you really need to post your homophobic rant on beckett ? I’m sure you would have found 5 or 6 like minded morons on Who cares if Gabbert has long hair, I’m sure from the comfort of your recliner with your disgusting beer gut flowing out over your 7 year old pair of Wranglers hiding your confederate belt buckle you would think he looks feminine. To bad even on your best day the kid could out do you in any ascpect of life. But hey I’m just making a gneralization based of something I saw on the internet.

Get grip, Rick. At worst you claim he was homophobic, not racist.
And of course you drag YOUR politics into it. I don’t know anything about freedom works, but
a quick scan says they want lower taxes and less government. Even some of the liberals are
starting about making cuts after the orgy of spending under this president and the one prior.

As to the guys hair, well, that kind of stuff started back in the day of Joe Namath.
Tom Brady has managed to have a pretty nice career and married a super model to boot, not
exactly “sissy” you are over 6 ft, over 200 lbs, and have to occasionally be able to take a hit
from a guy who makes even you look small.
