Welcome to the digital age, card collectors.

Panini America and the NFL Players Association are teaming up to bring collectors closer to the players. Several fans will take part in a Google+ Hangout with NFL rookies Montee Ball and Matt Barkley on Thursday.

Winners will be able to ask players questions during the live session and receive a digital copy of a special Panini Score Rookie Card.

To enter the contest, fill out this form. Anyone can watch the hangout here.

While collectors want to get their hands on tangible items, being able to hold the items they collect, what do you think of this venture?
