Non-Serial Numbered 2025-26 Topps Nikola Jokic Cards Top Early Market Values

Every NBA season is full of twists and turns, bringing action to fans and continued enthusiasm to sports card collectors. With most teams now 23 to 25 games into the 82-game regular season schedule, five players are setting the foundation for Most Valuable Player honors. One of the five already has received the award three times.
Helping Drive Card Values
Going down the NBA leading scorers’ board, Luka Doncic (35.00 ppg) is on pace to accomplish something done just nine times total, and by only five different players, average 35 or more points per game for a season.
- James Harden 36.13 (2018-19)
- Kobe Bryant 35.40 (2005-06)
- Michael Jordan 37.09 (1986-87)
- Rick Barry 35.58 (1966-67)
- Wilt Chamberlain 36.86 (1963-64), 44.83 (1962-63), 50.36 (1961-62), 38.39 (1960-61), and 37.60 (1959-60)
A noteworthy asterisk to those who round up, Jordan averaged 34.98 points per game during the 1987-88 season.
Joining Doncic on the scoring barrage, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (32.8 ppg), Tyrese Maxey (31.5), and Donovan Mitchell (30.5).
Coming off a 2024-25 MVP season with an NBA Championship and Finals MVP on the resume, Gilgeous-Alexander is the person to beat. Making the early case even harder to pass him up, his Oklahoma City Thunder squad has the best record in the league, 23-1.

Nikola Jokic
But just 5.5 games behind the Thunder in the Northwest, the Denver Nuggets. The big man controlling the action on offense and in the paint on defense, center Nikola Jokic.
Jokic is on pace to do something even rarer this season than Doncic’s 35 ppg. Joker is averaging a triple-double on the season. Just three players have done it, Russell Westbrook four times, Oscar Robertson once, and Jokic last season (29.6 ppg, 12.7 rpg, and 10.2 apg).
Even though the feat is rare, it is seemingly taken for granted by MVP voters. Only Westbrook has earned MVP honors during a season when averaging a triple-double (2016-17) and may have only won because he also led the league in scoring (31.6 ppg). The Big O averaged his triple-double during the 1961-62 season but earned league MVP honors in ’63-64, the same year he won the scoring title (31.4 ppg).
Jokic is currently averaging 29.2 points per game, 12.3 rebounds, and 11.0 assists. Keeping him in the running for a fourth possible MVP trophy, he is the fifth leading scorer this season.
