Milwaukee Brewers Rookie SP Jacob Misiorowski Aces MLB Debut

The pride of Crowder College surpassed lofty expectations on Thursday night taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning against the St. Louis Cardinals. Sharp collectors and flippers are jumping on Jacob Misiorowski rookie cards after the standout performance.
Even the biggest of baseball fans may be unfamiliar with Misiorowski other than knowing he began the season as a top prospect for the Milwaukee Brewers. The 6-7, 197-pound, starting pitcher hails from the small town of Grain Valley (15,000 pop.), Missouri, on the outskirts of Kansas City.
Misiorowski bypassed opportunities to play Power Conference baseball, initially committed to Oklahoma State, but opting to play JUCO ball at Crowder, and then skipped taking the mound at LSU entering the 2022 MLB Draft.
While at Crowder, Misiorowski earned All-American honors as a redshirt freshman posting a 10-0 record with a 2.72 ERA. A power pitcher with his fastball, able to consistently top 100 miles per hour, Misiorowski has four pitches at his disposal mixing in a curveball with a changeup and a sinker.
After 13 outings with the Nashville Sounds to start the 2025 season, Misiorowski was called up from Triple-A ball for his MLB debut on June 12.
The stat line: 5 innings, 5 strikeouts, and three walks off 81 pitches.
The marvelous debut came to an end after Misiorowski was 3-0 on Victor Scott II, taking a step back, he appeared to roll his right ankle in an awkward step on the hill of the mound. The injury did not appear to be serious, but precautions were made to protect the health of Misiorowski pulling him from the game.
Misiorowski (1-0), Nick Mears, and Aaron Ashby combined for a three-hit shutout, Ashby gave up three hits over the three innings pitched to earn the save. Misiorowski got his first MLB victory going head-to-head against the Cardinals’ Sonny Gray (7-2).
Between Topps, Bowman, and Panini, there are a lot of fantastic cards on the market for cardboard chasers. If you like Minor League cards (guilty), the 2024 Topps Biloxi Shuckers #PD-171 Jacob Misiorowski red auto /10 is really cool.
Bowman has paper and chrome cards on Misiorowski with one of them being the 2025 Scout’s Top 100 listing (#BTP-37) Misiorowski at No. 37. Another eye-catching card is the 2023 Panini Select Concourse #28 Jacob Misiorowski Silver Prizm.
