IMHO opinion, grading has gotten out of control. I understood grading for older cards so you would know it was reprint or whatever but people are pulling cards from current year packs and sending them in to be graded. In many cases what some might consider to be common cards. There is a 1974 Bill campbell which in mint condition (raw) is listed in beckett at $1.50 and Mint (9) graded at 25.00. I saw a listing where somebody was asking $400+ for this card that was graded a 10! I know that anything is only worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it but geesh.
