Among the childhood possessions goaltending great Ryan Miller and his brothers left behind in their parents’ house is a hockey card collection their older cousin, former NHL forward Kevin Miller, gifted the boys in the early 1990s. Ryan Miller remembers thumbing through the cards and discovering a treasure trove of stars from the late 1970s and early 80s, including the holy grail for hockey collectors. “We were finding superstars and pulled out a Wayne Gretzky Rookie Card and everything,” said Miller, who retired in 2021 having won 391 games during his decorated 18-year NHL career, a record for American-born goalies….
