Looking at The New Star Wars: Unlimited Meta
The dust from this spring’s first ever rotation has settled, and the galaxy looks very different than it did a year ago.
With the oldest sets retired, the Premier card pool now stretches from Jump to Lightspeed through Legends of the Force, Secrets of Power, and the newest release, A Lawless Time.
That trimming did exactly what rotation is supposed to do; it reset the pecking order and forced players to rebuild from the ground up.
With the Galactic Championship season heating up, here is where the competitive meta stands right now, straight from the tournament data.
Before we dig into individual leaders, it is worth noting just how much two bases shape this format.
Lake Country sits at roughly 20 percent of the field with Data Vault also sitting near 20 percent. Together, that is more than a third of every deck out there.
Tellingly that the format’s two biggest threats call Lake Country home. Keep that in mind as we go.
Lando Calrissian, Full Sabacc
If you want to know what the format looks like, start here. Lando is the single most played leader in the game right now, appearing in a good portion of competitive decks while posting a win rate north of half.
Paired with Lake Country, that number climbs even more, making this the deck to beat.
A Cunning and Heroism leader out of A Lawless Time, Lando anchors a slick midrange shell that leans on cheap, efficient vehicles.
The N-1 Starfighter and Stolen AT-Hauler do the dirty work, while Han Solo, Qui-Gon Jinn, and a well-timed Watch This swing fights you thought were already lost.
It is consistent, it is flexible, and it punishes greedy opponents mercilessly.

Boba Fett, Any Methods Necessary
By raw tournament points, Boba Fett is the most successful archetype in the format, and it is the only one currently sitting in true S-tier.
Also built on the Lake Country base, Boba shares Lando’s Cunning core but trades the heroics for raw Villainy. It’s a space-focused aggression deck that assembles an overwhelming fleet and points it straight at your base.
Fett’s Firespray and the IG-2000 set the early tempo, the menacing Devastator and Punishing One headline the heavy hitters, the droid duo of 0-0-0 and BT-1 grinds out value, and the Droid Missile Platform keeps the pressure relentless.
With a win rate hovering around over half across an enormous sample, this is the most battle tested strategy in the room.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Courage Makes Heroes
For players who would rather fight on the ground than in the sky, Obi-Wan is the Force fueled answer.
Sitting comfortably in A-tier at roughly 10 percent of the field, this Jedi swarm leans on a low curve of efficient bodies, like Yaddle, Gungi, and Ezra Bridger, then turns them into real threats with cheap upgrades like the Constructed Lightsaber.
Yoda, My Ally is the Force gives the deck a genuine late game ceiling, and the rest of the curve stays cheap and aggressive enough to keep the pressure constant.
Most lists run the Shadowed Undercity base. It is the kind of proactive, synergy-driven deck that rewards tight, patient play.

The Contenders
Below the big three, a healthy spread of decks is quietly posting excellent numbers.
Aurra Sing, Assassin on the Data Vault base is one of the meta’s best kept secrets, hovering near a half win rate despite a smaller share of the field, a true sleeper for anyone willing to put in the reps.
Dedra Meero, Not Wasting Time on Colossus is right there with her, while Mother Talzin, Power Through Magick grinds opponents down with a Force fueled dark side removal package, leaning on her repeatable -1/-1 debuff and a Crystal Caves shell built for attrition.
Luke Skywalker, Hero of Yavin keeps the Rebellion flag flying on Data Vault, and Darth Vader, Victor Squadron Leader brings Imperial muscle to the Mos Eisley base.
None of these are fringe picks, any of them can win a major on the right day. With this many leaders posting positive win rates, rotation has clearly given us an open format.

What to Watch
The clock is already ticking on this snapshot. Ashes of the Empire lands on July 17, and a fresh set of that size always reshuffles the board.
It arrives with new leaders in Emperor Palpatine and Luke Skywalker and brand-new mechanics like Advantage tokens and the Support keyword, exactly the kind of injection that rewrites a format.
Right on its heels, the Galactic Championship descends on Las Vegas July 24 through 26, where the best players in the world will put these decks through the wringer.
The next few weeks will tell us which of these strategies were built to last.
For now, though, the takeaway is simple. respect the Lake Country menace, pack answers for the Force swarm, and never sleep on a sleeper.
