Leonard Fournette, projected to be one of the top offensive players in the 2017 NFL Draft, has signed an exclusive deal with Panini covering both autographs and memorabilia.
And while the running back will be featured throughout Panini’s traditional 2017 football products, it didn’t take them long to release their first. Fournette already has cards available through the card maker’s online-exclusive Panini Instant program.
Currently, Fournette is projected to be a potential top 10 pick a the upcoming draft. In three years at LSU he racked up more than 3,800 yards to go along with 40 touchdowns, 22 of which came in 2015. Injuries limited Fournette’s playing time this season but his talents still put him in high regard.
With the signing, Fournette becomes the first running back to sign an exclusive deal with Panini Authentic, the company’s memorabilia arm.
The Panini Instant cards are available now and will be sold for the remainder of Super Bowl week. The base version has an open-ended print run based on the number of cards ordered. Three autograph cards come numbered to either 25, 7 and 1.
2017 Panini Elite Draft Picks will be the company’s first pack-based product to include Fournette. It’s scheduled to release in March.
