It’s no secret that Chrome is one of the favorite card types for baseball card collectors, but the latest wall art line from Topps turns thing up a notch.
This time, the Chrome cards are printed on metal.
The company revealed the 2015 Topps Chrome Metal Sign line of wall art on Thursday, and it’s an offering of 10-by-14 metal prints for a selection of players who appear on the newly released 2015 Topps Chrome checklist.
There are 198 options in this one for collectors — 99 standard signs limited to 49 serial-numbered copies and 99 Gold Edition 1/1s that are only available on Topps.com for a limited time. The standard signs sell for $69.99, while the Golds are $149.99, $199.99 and $299.99 depending on player.
Between both types, there is a mix of Gallery of Greats, base cards and Future Stars. Among the players found in the massive offering are Kris Bryant, Buster Posey, Mike Trout, Joc Pederson, Bryce Harper, Carlos Correa, Clayton Kershaw and Albert Pujols to name a few.
The signs are printed on sign-grade machine-polished aluminum with wall mounts included.
