The latest line of MLB wall art from Topps is one that takes a popular brand from the past and blows it up onto metal prints.

The brand is 1993 Finest and there are 162 new offerings all printed on metal beginning today only on Topps.com.

The 1993 Finest Metal Prints line will consist of 81 1/1 prints priced at $199.99 per player, while a second set of 81 prints is limited to 25 copies and costs $99.99 per player.

This offering’s lineup includes a mix of past and present players. The nine past players were not offered in the 2013 20th anniversary inserts that these are modeled after.

The prints measure 10-by-14 and there are subtle color changes between the two versions.

Some of the players in the line include Mike Trout, Yogi Berra, Ernie Banks, Johnny Bench, Madison Bumgarner, Nolan Ryan, Clayton Kershaw, Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams and Cal Ripken Jr.

Any idea why Griffey is not a part of these wall art lines even though he is still in the card issues for Topps? I’m sure it has to do with contract but I am a bit surprised as his products sell like hotcakes.

…and they always will sell like hotcakes, Adam. He always wore a smile and earned what he got.
