In what seems like a blink of an eye, Jared Goff is about to enter his tenth season on the gridiron in the professional ranks. Through the ups and downs with the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions, Goff has been consistently great, showing no signs of dropping off. The high level of productivity on the field is keeping card values up on the secondary markets.
A first round pick out of the University of California in 2016, Goff got a nine-game reprieve to learn under Rams’ starter Casey Keenum then took over as the starter. The seven starts as a rookie didn’t lead the Rams to the Super Bowl or the playoffs but it did lay the foundation for big seasons to come.
As a full-time starter in 2017, Goff helped guide his LA team to an 11-4 record throwing for 3,804 yards with 28 touchdowns. The following season he bested himself with a career-high 4,688 yards and 32 touchdowns seeing the Rams go 13-3 in the regular season and 2-1 in the postseason.
The 2017 and 2018 seasons propelled Goff to the upper ranks of the NFL earning Pro Bowl nods in both years. Goff earned two more selections in 2022 and 2024 throwing for 4,438 yards and 29 scores in ’22 and 4,629 yards with a career-best 37 touchdowns in ’24.
Panini jumped on Goff’s top overall selection producing various cards, upping the value for collectors with short prints. One of the harder to get items in the Goff card catalogue is the Przims Blue Wave – just 149 were made. Good condition raw values of the #208 Blue Wave have ranged from $6 to $50 mint depending on the platform and time of purchase.
Graded #208 Blue Waves see a big jump in value with a 9 netting around $122, 9.5 over $150, and a 10 in the neighborhood of $280-plus.
