    i picked up some frank thomas slides just like those. i thought they were an interesting collectable. even if there werent used as an actual topps image. it was something different and cool.

    They did a nice job of packaging those slides. I actually bought one of Jeff Russell’s Topps contracts a number of years ago direct from Topps. Being a Rangers fan of the same name, it’s a unique item for my collection.

    A while back I picked up Rick Ainkel slides off Ebay from Pacific they were dated and noted by Pacific.
    Pretty cool stuff not a lot out there I guess but given he swithed to out field I thought worth having.
    I have considered having them made into 5×10’s just to see the whole picture. Not sure if these were tied to any card in particular though.
