In Case You Want to Hang Some Affordable Dick Perez Art on Your Wall

When it comes to the art-baseball card combination, Dick Perez is an undisputed legend. The original Diamond Kings creator, his baseball paintings are iconic in hobby circles.

Many of the Diamond Kings cards he did over the years are affordable. They are mini reproductions, after all that don’t necessarily pop if you hang them on the wall. If you want original Dick Perez painting, they can run tens of thousands.

A middle-ground option does exist. Perez has a series of Indigo Art posters that showcase his work in sizes big enough for a wall. Dimensions vary, but more are around 20 to 25 inches on either side.

Subjects span about the last century of baseball. Babe Ruth, Ted Williams and Jackie Robinson are among the legends.

A couple of the prints should look familiar to card collectors. The Roberto Clemente poster is the same art that was used for the puzzle in 1987 Donruss Baseball.

Perez’s Tony Gwynn Indigo Art poster matches the Hall of Famer’s 1995 Donruss Diamond Kings insert.

Prices of Perez’s Indigo Art posters are $32 or $37 depending on the print.
