High Value for Josh Allen 2018 National Treasures Rookie Signatures Gold at Goldin Auctions
When Panini released its 2018 National Treasures line, there was no shortage of Josh Allen affiliated cards hitting the shelves. The card manufacturer went all in on the Buffalo Bills first-round pick (seventh overall) out of Wyoming. The QB has proven to be one of the era’s best and is a loved figure in the hobby. Loved so much, collectors will pay thousands for Allen-signed rookie cards.
The pairing of Bills head coach Sean McDermott and Allen in Buffalo has been electric. After a 6-10 campaign in 2018, the Bills have won 10 or more games in six consecutive seasons with an offense ranked inside the top three in each year, sans 2023 when finishing sixth.
From 2019 to 2024, Allen started in 16 or more games, producing a career-best 4,544 passing yards with 37 touchdowns in 2020.
During the 2024 season, Allen earned NFL Most Valuable Player honors but somehow ended up second team All-Pro.
Allen’s winning ways and big statistics attract collectors from across the country willing to pay a premium for one of his high-end trading cards. On Sept. 27, 26 bidders ran up the value of a Beckett graded 9.5 2018 Panini National Treasures Rookie Signatures Gold #RS-JA Josh Allen signed rookie card to $7,320 with a buyer’s premium.
The Goldin Auction success far exceeded previous sales.
On June 28, a PSA 9 2018 Panini National Treasures Rookie Signatures Gold #RS-JA Josh Allen sold for $2,684 after 22 bids.
Showing how far the value on Allen’s cards have come, on Dec. 29, 2019, a PSA 10 Rookie Signatures Gold Josh Allen sold for $256.
Panini produced just 25 National Treasures Rookie Signatures Gold #RS-JA Josh Allen cards. Collectors wanting something within the same sphere of influence, under the National Treasures Rookie line, Panini also released:

The chase gets harder with short prints of five and one. In total, Panini produced 55 different variants of the 2018 National Treasures Rookie Signatures line featuring Josh Allen.
Beckett has graded nine of the 25 Panini 2018 National Treasures Rookie Signatures Gold #RS-JA Josh Allen cards produced. The pop report: one Near Mint 8, six Mint 9s, and two Gem Mint 9.5s are out there.
