Graded: 2024 GAS x Complex Cover Series Rainbow Foil #C2 Slim Shady
February 23, 1999, the world was introduced to Slim Shady. Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also known as M&M and Slim Shaddy, took the world by storm with his release of The Slim Shady LP featuring the title track “My Name Is”. With over 7.3 million copies sold in the U.S. alone of Mathers’ second album, an icon was born. 26 years later, hip-hop fans of all ages continue to appreciate and collect M&M items from albums to CDs, and valuable trading cards.
The 2024 GAS x Complex Cover Series featured Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Big Sean, and Mathers. The different variants included Cracked Ice Foil, Gold Foil, Purple Foil, Rainbow Foil, Red Foil, Royal Blue Foil, Sky Blue Foil, Teal Foil, and Bronze Foil.
The 2024 GAS x Complex Cover Series Autographs Gold Foil for Cabello, Eminem, and Big Sean were 1-of-1 releases.
2024 GAS x Complex Cover Series Rainbow Foil #C2 Slim Shady Gem Mint 9.5 featured, only 40 were signed.
Asking prices for the raw base version of the card can run from $8 to $13. Wanting to add the graded Rainbow Foil Autograph version to your collection, there is no set price. Graded values of the inserts that have been autographed can run from $800 upwards to $10,000.
The cards came about in 2024 when GAS collaborated with Complex Magazine. The issues featured a cover star with a trading card.
