Graded: 2018 National Championship #BT2-068 Ultimate Lifeform Cell P 10 Pristine

Bandai always has a unique way to capture the imagination of trading card game enthusiasts, and it all begins with unique artistry. Inspired by the Dragon Ball Super anime series, Dragon Ball Super Card Game (DBZ TCG) was created. Depending on one’s background in toys, pop culture, and anime, the Dragon Ball cards draw on numerous imageries instantly pulling in the player with emotion. One of the coolest created in the series is Ultimate Lifeform Cell.
The range of artistic work influenced in Dragon Ball can be linked back to the movie Alien (1979), 1980’s toys like Voltron, and classic comic book villains.
No matter who you are, the artwork on the 2018 National Championship 32nd-17th Prize #BT2-068 Ultimate Lifeform Cell P will instantly produce a reaction, and that reaction can be fear, shock and awe, appreciation of the work, the peak of coolness, or all the above.
In the game, the creation of a “perfect” villain, or cell, is the aim of scientist Dr. Gero. The perfect lifeform is a compilation of the best attributes of warriors in the series. A perfect cell is as advertised, strong, quick, and hard to defeat, but can be destroyed and will not regenerate.
The rare Ultimate Lifeform Cell prize cards produced for the November 2018 North American event began with over 400 players narrowed down to a field of 32 for Day 2. The top three finalists received a one-of-a-kind metal card along with other victory gifts.
As the label suggests, tournament cards were made for different levels of finishers including those 17-32 who made it to Day 2. The rare and industry standard Beckett graded 10 Black Label only adds to the uniqueness of this fantastic card.
