Ever picture yourself on a football card? Perhaps doing a little dance or imitating the Heisman Trophy pose?

Topps is bringing that opportunity to collectors with a special promotion inside 2012 Topps.

Topps has inserted 10 Golden Draft Tickets, which read “Congratulations! You have been drafted by The Topps Football Team.”

So what does that mean? Not even Willy Wonka can get you your own card.

Each ticket pulled will get the collector an autograph football of Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III, the two hottest rookies entering the 2012 season.

But one person will get their own card in 2013 Topps Football.

Golden tickets can be found in hobby and retail.

By the way, if you need your fill of 2012 Topps before it comes out on Wednesday, check out this Ripping Retail video.

why would anybody want a football card of themselves?

i’d rather have both luck and griffin autos than a picture of my fat ass on a football card.
