Game-Worn Zion Williamson Nike Sneakers Headed for Auction Block
A pair of game-worn Nike sneakers Zion Williamson wore during his freshman season at Duke are being sold at auction.
And, no, it’s not the pair that exploded.
The sale, which begins July 8, marks the first time a pair of Williamson’s shoes have hit the auction block. The sneakers are one of the headline items in Goldin Auctions‘ Summer 2019 Auction.
Williamson wore the shoes — Nike Kyrie 5’s — in his fourth official game at Duke on November 19, 2018. It was part of the Maui Invitational where the Blue Devils beat San Diego State 90-64. Williamson scored 13 points to go with an assist, five steals, six rebounds and one block in 18 minutes of play.
The size 14 shoes are black and blue with a white Nike swoosh.
