The upcoming football rookie autographs get into full swing with the release of 2014 Topps Platinum in November.
Each box of Topps Platinum will contain 20 packs with five cards in each pack. Each box will also have three hits of an autograph refractor patch and two autographed Rookie Cards. In addition, collectors will find five X-Fractor parallels, one Black Refractor parallels and one Platinum Die-Cut in every box.
The Autograph Rookie Refractor cards will come in 10 parallels: Black Refractor (sequentially numbered), Blue Refractor (numbered to 99), Pulsar Refractor (numbered to 50), Purple Refractor (numbered to 25), Gold Refractor (numbered to 15), BCA Refractor (numbered to 10), STS Refractor (numbered to 10), Red Refractor (numbered to 5), Superfractor (1-of-1), and Printing Plates (1-of-1).

Gonna pass……limited budget and rookie cards of players in airbrushed college uniforms just doesn’t do anything for me.
The cards will have the players in full team uniforms and logos. But they don’t know what team they are on yet so they can’t put NFL unis on them yet.
The release in November will have rookies in their NFL uniforms. The airbrushed are just examples for now!
The patches look smaller than past years.
Why such a late release this year? Werent they released Aug last year?
I have a topps plat.#56 auto. Black printing plate. How much is it worth?
Every 2014 Topps Platinum base card looks like a refractor to me. When tilted back and forth, different colors jump off the card. I can’t find a listing in Beckett. Thanks.
