Panini America is bringing Select back into the mix in all sports with the latest being football.

The last stand-alone Select football product came out in 1996. Collectors will have to wait until mid-December now to get 2013 Select Football, Panini announced on Thursday.

Select will feature Prizm-based technology. Each master box will come with two mini boxes with seven packs in each and six cards in every pack. A master box will yield four autographs, four Prizm cards and six inserts.

The inserts will include Select in Motion, Hot and White Hot Veterans.

Many of the autographs will focus on the 2013 rookies. There will be autographed Memorabilia cards of the 40 players at the NFL Rookie Premiere with Prizm, Gold and Black parallels. In addition, Rookie Autographs will highlight some of the best of this year’s rookies on Black Prizm cards.

Panini will add veteran autographs in Select Signatures with Prizm, Gold and Black parallels.

Select Stripes will feature an autograph and a piece of game-worn memorabilia with Prizm Gold parallels.

We didn’t get a price point yet, but in the next couple of days I am sure dealer will be putting up pre-order information.
