First look: 2013 Panini USA Baseball Champions
By Chris Olds | Beckett Baseball Editor
The Red, White and Blue are coming in pack form — with legends of the past, too.
Panini America revealed on Saturday its 2013 USA Baseball Champions product, which will arrive on May 29.
Set to include two autographs and three memorabilia cards per 24-pack hobby box, it also will include retired USA Baseball alumni, prospects and current-day USA squad members all in one 187-card base set.
The 2012 National Team will be found on Certified-style cards, a first, while each box also will include three Mirror parallels, a USA Baseball Legends die cut, one National Team Mirror Red and seven more insert cards, the company said. In addition, there will be a heavy selection of patch cards, including the popular flag patches, and one USA first — bat knob cards.
The alumni presence hasn’t been heavily felt in some time, but this time around it will include past stars on Blast From the Past inserts — the likes of Jim Abbott, Frank Thomas, Barry Larkin and Robin Ventura to name a few — while players who didn’t have many (or any) previous USA cards will appear on cards.
Also of note for this one will be Triple Play Materials, cards with three game-used pieces on them — a jersey, a bat and a patch piece on every card.

i like the idea of this set. the cards look really cool. is there gonna be a box busters on this product chris???
Why is your website still down and has been all day? Why are we paying for the service of OPG and it has gone down 3 times in the past 7 days? Are your paying customers going to be given a discount for a very shotty system lately?
the site has been working fine for me all day. I’ve used it a lot too because I had to look up stuff at a card show. try a different browser and if that doesn’t work email customerservice@beckett.com
I have used both CHROME and IE and its not working, people are on twitter saying its not working for them either and we have emailed and nothing.
Its working on my IPHONE but trying to add 500 cards to your org on that is worse than being castrated.
Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error.
Site has been working fine for me too. Even on my Nook. No problems for weeks….anyway…the cards featured here are great looking. Should be a great set for baseball fans everywhere.
I’ve using both the OPG and the Marketplace all day without a single problem.
i’m opening a case,and 2012 golden age blow’s away 2012 A&G

did anyone say anything about collectors hating sticker autos at the industry summitt? i refuse to buy any card with a sticker on it
they can say it but the companies only care about the bottom line, plus wouldnt we complain when they jacked up the price even more since the precieved cost? still stickers suck
No offense SUZE your great and love ya but Richard your a moron, you must be the guy that pays people to hang out with them, if I am paying for a service/product I expect it to work…. going on 2 days of it not working.
It worked yesterday. Today, not so much.
