Upper Deck recently released information on its latest upcoming NHL product, and 2010-11 O-Pee-Chee Hockey is set to arrive in mid-December with a feel and a product that should appeal to oldschool fans as well as set collectors.

With a price-point of under $50 a box, the 600-card O-Pee-Chee checklist will feature retro parallels of all base cards, which are one per pack.

But there are also variations of the variations. The retro cards have rainbow foil and black rainbow foil parallels. There is also one In-Action laminated card per box.

The set doesn’t include just today’s stars of Sidney Crosby or Patrick Kane. Long-time greats and fan favorites such as Wayne Gretzky and Steve Yzerman are also included.

Jersey and signature cards will be hard to come by. There are just three quad jersey cards and three autos per 12-box case. Thirty six packs come in each box with six cards per pack.

Many inserts are in display in this set including the All-Rookie Team, Season Highlights, Stat Kings, Team Leaders, Trophy Winners and NHL Winter Classic. Collectors should get an average of nine inserts per box.

Among the highlights include, a Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, Joe Mullen and Evgeni Malkin quad jersey, Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo and Carey Price quad jersey and autos from Crosby, Gretzky and more.
