First autographed Pamela Anderson baseball card a hot seller

The first Pamela Anderson autographed card from 2010 Donruss Elite Extra Edition has proven to be one hot card.
How hot?
The first copy to sell on eBay ended on Sunday at $302 after 13 bids.
“I think it’s quite impressive. It speaks to her own popularity and the uniqueness of the card,” said Panini America Marketing Manager Tracy Hackler. “She appeals to collectors and non-collectors alike. Obviously, the argument against celebrities in sports products doesn’t extend to Pam Anderson.”
A second auction of an Anderson card, which is limited to just 35 signed copies, was set to end later Sunday night. Bidding on that card was at $275 after 25 bids. Update: That card sold for $391.
Meanwhile a third copy of the card appeared on the auction site with a $699.99 Buy It Now pricetag (or best offer).
Adding the former Baywatch actress and Playboy model to the baseball prospecting set likely came as a surprise for many, but it’s Anderson’s support of the Pepperdine baseball program that made her a natural fit when it comes to celebrity inclusions.
