The first piece of 42 memorabilia has arrived.

Warner Brothers released the first advance one-sheet poster for the Jackie Robinson biopic on Friday, a film that will chronicle the story of Major League Baseball’s social pioneer.

Starring Chadwick Boseman as Robinson and Harrison Ford as Brooklyn Dodgers General Manager Branch Rickey, it’s set to arrive in theaters on April 12.

Other than screen-used props, movie posters are often the most-available and most-popular type of memorabilia available. For popular films, studios will release a few styles of posters in advance of a release.

Look for more on the film — as well as other sports movies — in an upcoming issue of Beckett Sports Card Monthly.
