Drew Lock Is Denver’s New Key – Beckett Pricing Insider

This edition of the Beckett Pricing Insider is brought to you by GTS Distribution. Watch Go GTS Live – The Hobby’s Web Show, every Thursday at 9 PM EST.

Ever since Peyton Manning retired, the Denver Broncos have had a hard time finding a quarterback that lives up to their Elway-ian expectations. Seven different quarterbacks that have taken the field for the team since Manning hung it up after the 2015 season. In 2019 the Broncos drafted Drew Lock and it seems like they found their man. Lock started five games and went 4-1 while throwing seven touchdowns.

Drew Lock’s card values started out strong but not near the top of the draft class. That all changed towards the end of the season and has carried over into the offseason. Usually players values cool down in the offseason but not Lock’s. It’s likely collectors are speculating on his starting spot and what might be. Let’s take a look at some of Drew Lock’s cards that are selling well.

2019 Panini National Treasures #164 Drew Lock JSY AU RC /99

This is the granddaddy of all Drew Lock cards. This card, numbered to 99, sells for a significant number of all the cards in his catalog combined. Buying one of these will set you back close to $3,000.

2019 Panini Contenders Cracked Ice #104 Drew Lock AU /23

Cracked Ice is one of the most popular parallels in the hobby today and this card is near the top of the heap for collectors. It’s currently selling for over $2,500.

2019 Leaf Valiant Yellow Drew Lock /10 BGS 10 (Black Label)

It’s not everyday that you find a BGS Black Label card for sale. This one sold for over $1,200.
