Dinh Khang Pham’s Disney Lorcana World Championship Deck List
Lorcana recently crowned its first-ever world champion, a player already well-known within certain circles: Dinh Khang Pham from Germany. He’s not only a competitive Lorcana player but is known to be quite the Yu-Gi-Oh duelist too.
The Grand Finals of the tournament consisted of playing with three different dual-colored decks, ensuring that every possible ink color was represented in the game. Khang used his Ruby Sapphire DKP Shark Burn deck, his Amber Emerald Aggro deck, and his Amethyst Steel Broom Boy deck.

Khang said familiarity was his strength with this deck. He knew it inside and out and felt confident even against poor matchups like an Emerald Sapphire deck. This deck centered around controlling the battlefield and his own inkwell with cards like Be Prepared, making it easy to clear the board, and characters like Maui – Half Shark, generating a steady stream of Lore each turn.

Broom decks tend to focus on generating Lore through card draws, and this deck is no different. What sets Khang’s Broom Boy apart from the competition is the inclusion of Yen Sid – Powerful Sorcerer, building around his Lore gain when there are Magic Brooms on the field. Other cards, like Strength of a Raging Fire, benefit from having multiple characters in play at once and make it easier to keep your opponent’s inkwell empty.

Like most aggro decks, this one is built to generate Lore as quickly as possible. Cards like Fred – Mascot by Day do a lot of the heavy lifting, providing two Lore when challenged, while inexpensive-but-weak characters like Lilo – Making a Wish provide a disproportionate amount of Lore each time it quests.
Starting with a field of 28, the Lorcana World Championship took place June 28-29th at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Orlando, Florida. Dinh Khang Pham is the first annual Disney Lorcana TCG World Champion.
