David Beckham Signs Exclusive Autograph, Memorabilia Deal with Panini
His playing days may be behind him but David Beckham is still one of the biggest names in not just soccer, but all of sports. He has signed an exclusive autograph and memorabilia deal with Panini America.
As part of the long-term partnership (the exact duration was not announced), Beckham becomes a global brand ambassador for Panini. The company will also be the only place to find David Beckham autographed trading cards and signed memorabilia, which will be available through Panini Authentic.
“Panini has highlighted David throughout his career dating back to 1996 through our FIFA World Cup sticker collections and other soccer collections – we are excited to move into this next phase by highlighting him as a Global Ambassador through a variety of initiatives, trading cards and unique memorabilia that celebrate his incredible career,” said Mark Warsop, Panini America CEO.
Beckham’s first autograph cards under the agreement are found in 2020 Panini Immaculate Soccer, which releases on January 8.
Beckham rose to international fame in the 1990s with Manchester United. He won six Premier League championships, a pair of FA Cups and the UEFA Champions League while with the team. Beckham is currently co-owner of MLS’ Inter Miami CF.
