CM Punk Featured on Upper Deck’s First AEW Card
2021 Upper Deck AEW wrestling cards aren’t scheduled to arrive until later in the year. However, the company has released its first card for the company and it’s none other than their big-name signing — CM Punk.
Available exclusively through the company’s e-Pack platform, the 2021 Upper Deck AEW Preview #0 CM Punk can be purchased on its own. They cost $5.99 a piece. They’ll be sold on the e-Pack site for one week through the morning of September 3.
The card comes a week after Punk made his much speculated AEW debut. It ended a more than seven-year absence from professional wrestling having last appeared in WWE in 2014.
While physical will be available, Upper Deck estimates that it’ll take six to eight weeks. Delivery will then be an option for collectors. The approach is similar to what’s used for their Game Dated Moments sets.
Although this is the first AEW CM Punk card, Upper Deck has worked with the wrestler before. A noted fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, he has autographs and memorabilia on the 2015-16 Upper Deck Contours Hockey checklist. Punk is also in 2016 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions with a variety of base, insert, autograph and memorabilia cards.
