Upper Deck released their first minor league product in 1992. They would do the same just three other times: 1994, 1995, and 2002.

1994 Upper Deck Minor League Baseball features a 270-card base checklist. That did not mean that the checklist included 270 minor league players. With the subsets, some players had as many as three base cards in the set.

There was only one insert set, Player of the Year, which highlighted star players from each league in the minors. Unfortunately, none of the players highlights went on to become major league stars.

As far as stars included in the base set? How about Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan. Not bad, right?
