Just as the NFL did this past weekend, we take a break from football to rip something extremely timely! Yes, the 2026 Winter Olympics start today! So with that said, here comes a 2026 Topps Chrome U.S. Winter Olympic & Paralympic Team Hopefuls hobby box! It may have quite the set name, but there is certainly no confusion about what you are ripping here.
This set features a 200-card base checklist, with most athletes getting a couple of different base cards. Each base card is also available in 12 different parallels! (Actually 13, but Red, White and Blue Refractors are exclusive to blaster boxes and not available here.) Everything from base Refractors to 1/1 Superfractors can be found.
Yes, there are also autographs! There are 99 athletes included on the Base Autograph checklist. That includes some very well-known names like Chloe Kim, John Shuster, Kristi Yamaguchi, Lindsey Vonn, Mikaela Shiffrin, Mike Eruzione and Shaun White. Each box should contain two autographs.

Lastly, the Teter card back. I definitely appreciate that Topps included Olympic experience and medal counts on the backs.
I feel like this box went better than expected. Sure, each box should hold a couple of autographs, but both of these were numbered Refractor autographs! Also, the Black Refractor limited to /10 copies has got to be a tough pull!
