Cheap Wax Wednesday Box Breaks: 2022 Onyx Vintage College Football
2022 Onyx Vintage College Football features a short 28-card base set. Cards are printed on old-school card stock, with plain brown card backs — much like you’d see in a vintage set, hence the name. Also, telling from the name, the set features nothing but college players.
Each box includes a single pack and should have a couple of base cards and a couple autographs. The autographs come in four different parallels, with different ink colors. Blue Autographs are limited to 300 copies or fewer. Parallels get more scarce from there, with Green Ink limited to 50 copies, Red Ink to 25 copies, and Black Ink just 5 copies each.
There are some good names to chase on the autograph checklist. Some notables include Bijan Robinson, Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Jaxson Dart, and Xavier Worthy.

Pack 1:
Jack Sawyer, Cade Klubnik, Ben Yurosek Blue Autograph and Andrel Anthony Blue Autograph
Yurosek has appeared in eight games for the Vikings this season, catching just one pass. Anthony played at Duke this season, catching five touchdown passes.
And the Sawyer card back. I really don’t like these card backs. Base cards certainly do not need the autograph parallel information on them. But, here we are.
Those were definitely not the autographs you are hoping to find when opening this product. But that is the chance we take on a product like this.
