Cheap Wax Wednesday Box Breaks: 2020 Topps 3D Baseball
2020 Topps 3D Baseball was an online-exclusive release, just as it had been since the brand’s 2018 inception. Each year, 100 cards from the flagship set are chosen to be printed on lenticular stock. The 2018 release was especially rare, with only 5,378 packs available for purchase. The print run did see increases after 2018, with 2020 growing to 12,500 packs. Each pack features six base cards and two Rookie Class Motion inserts. Using some simple math, it would appear that each base card is limited to just 750 copies, which is pretty rare by today’s standards.
As far as the checklist goes, it is kind of funny to look at some of the player selections now five years out. Plenty of the 100 subjects would certainly not be seen as stars today.
This online-only set was available each year from 2018 to2022
These packs were $20 on release.

Not a very good pack, with Molina being the highlight of the bunch.
