Cheap Wax Wednesday Box Breaks: 1994 Score Rookie/Traded Baseball
1994 Score was split into two Series. The base cards? Remember those super plain cards with the blue borders? That was 1994 Score Baseball. 1994 Score Rookie/Traded Baseball, however, has a completely different design. These base cards use bright red borders and multiple accent colors. The player names were bright red and yellow, a huge change from the other 1994 releases.
The base set also features a full parallel that matches 1994 Score Baseball. Gold Rush cards are found one per pack and gave the cards a gold mirror finish. Aside from that, there are just two insert sets to hunt down in Rookie/Traded. Super Rookies look somewhat similar to the Gold Rush parallels. Changing Places inserts highlighted players that had recently switched teams. Both inserts are found just once in each box and are not easy pulls.
