1992 Leaf Baseball is split into two series, each with 264 base cards. Base cards featured silver borders with black accents and team logos. The 1992 design was not that far off from 1991, using the same silver border and black accents. In addition to the base set there is a full-set parallel, Black Gold. Each base card is available with full black borders and gold foil accents. Parallels were just starting to come into the hobby at this point.

Besides the base set and full Black Gold parallel set, there is just one insert. Gold Leaf Rookies features a 24-card checklist split between the two series. The best names available in Series 1? Pedro Martinez and Kenny Lofton.
