Beckett Media’s Andrew Tolentino opens a box of 2011 Topps Inception Football — a pack within a box within a wrapper, maybe within a dream.

What’s going on with all the chipping on the corners. A majority of the cards are completely ruined from all the chipping along the edges and corners. Does Topps not have the manpower on quality control? Take a good look at those cards people and then tell me you weren’t disappointed about purchasing this substandard product. Check out the box breaks on You Tube and that will tell you no thanks.

I opened two packs of Inception. While the product is attractive, EACH AND EVERY CARD was damaged in some way, ranging from dinged corners to badly chipped edges! NONE would grade higher than a “7.0”, although the autographs themselves would be “10.0’s”. Topps should be both ashamed and embarrassed to have foisted this product upon the public, and should either immediately recall all unsold packs or dump them at under $10.00 each! Incidently, I personally would not pay that much for additional packs! C’mon, Topps, hire some Quality Control folks for cryin’ out loud!
