Bo Nix BGS Graded 2024 Panini Prizm Prizms Choice Nebula Brings Big Value at Auction
The 2024 Panini Prizm Choice football release featured a big focus on NFL rookies. Within the set, Panini produced some sweet chase cards for collectors, including a lot of one-of-ones. Hobby wide, the Nebula parallel is a chase card. Pair it with a high-profile player, like rising star Bo Nix, the chase could be upped to grail worthy.
At Goldin Auctions on Sept. 4, after 53 bids and a buyer’s premium, the chase was had on a 2024 Panini Prizm Prizms Choice Nebula #309 Bo Nix.
The Product Line
The 2024 Panini Prizm Prizms Choice Nebula line starts with #1 Kyler Murray and extends 400 deep, ending with JJ McCarthy. All 400 cards are one-of-ones.
Some of the more valuable raw Nebula football cards that have been sold on a public platform include #383 Ricky Pearsall ($13,000), #310 Braden Fiske ($5,500), #147 Joe Montana ($2,032), and #347 Jayden Daniels ($1,599).
Listed raw sale prices, like the #299 Marshall Faulk, get into the neighborhood of $5,000.
A BGS 9.5 #12 Drake London sold on June 12 for $2,026.98 on eBay. On July 22, a PSA 9 #196 Juju Smith-Schuster was auctioned off after 35 bids on eBay for $361.69.
On a Different Level
Playing quarterback and being the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Nix, the former Auburn Tigers/Oregon Ducks standout, has the full attention of the hobby.
As a rookie, Nix exceeded many expectations with the Broncos leading the team to a 10-7 regular-season record, starting all 17 games for Denver with a playoff berth. Nix completed 66.3 percent of his pass attempts covering 3,775 yards with 29 touchdowns against 12 picks. In those 10 wins, Nix led three game-winning drives.
