Finally settled in Dallas, Ben Bishop is proving he’s one of the best keepers in the league. Ben Bishop was robbed. The veteran goaltender prob-ably should have won the 2019 Vezina Trophy after posting career-bests in both save percentage (.943) and goals-against average (1.96) while playing behind an injury-ravaged defense in Dallas, but finished second behind Tampa’s Andrei Vasilevskiy. It’s not the runner-up status that’s shocking – after all, Vasilevskiy played a key role in the Lightning’s record-smashing season.
