Ever wonder what goes on in a Beckett magazine planning meeting?
Well spend eight minutes watching the wheels turn and you’ll get an idea. While this particular meeting — to plan the April 2010 issue of Beckett Sports Card Monthly — wasn’t necessarily rife with definitive revelations, we do learn just a little about the next issue’s editorial lineup and why Cliff Lee or Roy Halladay might not make the best cover subjects.

Behind Beckett Media strikes again! It’s a shame you had to cut off the video before all the cussin’ started up again. I realize little kids might be watching though. That’s just a smart, classy move.
Piece of advice for all young, aspiring comedians out there.
Timing…is……….everything.
I know you’re putting Jeets or A-Rod on the cover because you guys are boring that way!
I think Halladay is an excellent cover subject! He probably has never been on your cover before and he was one of the biggest off-season moves of the hot stove season.
I like the planning meeting behind the scenes idea.
My cover votes:
– Cubs 101 & Counting
– ARod Redemption From Steroid Confessions to Post Season Success
– The King James Season Begins This Off-Season (bidding war)
you forgot the part where you take a conference call from topps and agree to lower the price of certain topps cards so that topps can offer
“equal” replacments and screw their customers over.
Sorry, Kevin. We’ll try to capture that part next time.
Admitting it is half the battle, Hackler.
How about Kobe on the cover?
Hmmm . . .
Why not a collage cover. Baseball starting back up. Have one autograph card from each of the MLB teams. It would be the best autograph that yall have an image for. The back cover could be one game used card from each of the teams
