Beckett Sports Cards Hot/Cold List for the Week of November 10, 2025
Welcome to the weekly Beckett Sports Card Hot/Cold list, where we take a quick and fun look at what’s hot and what’s not in the worlds of sports and sports cards over the last week.

The Hot List
Yoshinobu Yamamoto
Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥🔥
Yamamoto secured three victories from the mound during LA’s World Series victory over the Blue Jays. Yamamoto threw the first complete World Series game since 2001 in Game 2, won his start in Game 6, and earned the victory in relief in Game 7 to claim World Series MVP honors. His rookies have been fast sellers on the secondary market, even now that the postseason has ended.

Drake Maye
Maye has engineered an efficient offense for the New England Patriots, who improved to 8-2 and seem poised to make their first playoff appearance since 2021. With all that success, the second-year quarterback has emerged as an MVP contender. Thus far, he’s completed 71.1 percent of his passes for 2,555 and 19 touchdowns — all figures that surpass the season-long totals of his rookie season (13 games).

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Only once in the first 11 games of the season has Gilgeous-Alexander scored fewer than 30 points, putting the reigning MVP in early discussions for another trophy. Behind SGA’s potent scoring attack, the defending NBA champion Thunder are off to an NBA-best 10-1 start.

Jonathan Taylor
For the fourth time this season, Taylor rumbled for three touchdown in a game. The latest victim was the Atlanta Falcons, whose defense couldn’t contain the sixth-year running back as he rumbled for 244 yards in a 31-25 overtime victory in Berlin, Germany. Among the front runners for MVP, Taylor is in position to potentially rush for more than 2,000 yards and/or 20 touchdowns this season.

Roman Anthony
After Anthony was announced as a finalist for American League Rookie of the Year honors, Boston manager Alex Cora shared some thoughts on the talented 21-year-old. “The kid became a monster in the outfield,” Cora said. “He was a plus defender. A good kid who understands what wearing that jersey means.” In his first season, Anthony hit .292 with 8 home runs and 32 RBI in 71 games, giving collectors reason to believe his first full season in 2026 could be a big one.

Cade Cunningham
Ever since Detroit spent the top overall pick on Cunningham in 2021, he has commanded plenty of attention. He made his first All-Star Game last year, and seems to be on track for a repeat this year. Through 10 games, Cunningham is nearly averaging a double-double with 25.6 points and a career-high 9.8 assists per game for the NBA East-leading Pistons.

Connor Bedard
With 16 assists and nine goals across the first 16 games of the season, Bedard has been one of the NHL’s most dependable offensive threats all year long. The 20-year-old-phenom seems destined to set new career-highs in both categories well before the regular season concludes.

Alex Ovechkin
Ovechkin recently became the first player in NHL history to score 900 goals. Now in his 21st season with the Washington Capitals, the 40-year-old has proven he’s not too old for the NHL. “Even with the slow start here, if someone asks me if he’s going to score 30 (goals) this year, I’d say, ‘Yes, guaranteed,'” teammate T.J. Oshie recently said. “He just finds a way to prove people wrong every time people think that he’s down and out. … There’s been plenty of time for me to come to terms with not putting limits on the big man.”

2025-26 Topps All Kings Basketball Inserts
Topps hit one out of the park back when it introduced All Aces baseball inserts several years, but the debut of All Kings cards this year caused an even bigger stir. Now, basketball card collectors are getting into the action, chasing down the coveted 2025-26 Topps Basketball SSP inserts that combine a matte finish with raised foil to replicate playing cards. The fragile black-bordered cards have been fast sellers on secondary marketplaces.

Mike Trout rookie card
I don’t disagree with your choices but there’s something weird how Drake Maye is getting all the love and credit for his 8-2 division lead over Josh Allen and the Bills but nobody is caring about Bo Nix’s 8-2 division lead over Mahomes and the Chiefs… 🤔
I need to get a Mickey Manley poster certificate from your office how long does it take to complete the job thank you
