Beckett Sports Cards Hot/Cold List for the Week of May 11, 2026
Welcome to the weekly Beckett Sports Card Hot/Cold list, where we take a quick and fun look at what’s hot and what’s not in the worlds of sports and sports cards over the last week.

The Hot List
Aaron Judge
Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥
Judge continues to lead the league in home runs with 16 as he remains on an early pace that would leave him in contention for a third straight MVP trophy. He’s also reaching base at a .402 clip and leads the league with 35 runs, so it’s not just his power-packed swing that have pushed the Yankees 10 games over .500.

After a breakout sophomore season with the Bears, Williams is looking for even more in Year 3. The NFL recently unveiled every team’s opponent for the 2026 season, and the Bears have the toughest slate, according to 2025 winning percentages. That will give Williams plenty of chances to prove last year was no fluke, and collectors will certainly be there every step of the way.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥
The Oklahoma City Thunder are rolling through the postseason so far, and the reigning NBA Finals MVP is one of the biggest reasons why. Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 29.1 points and 7.1 assists per game as the Thunder swept away the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers. Once OKC gets back to action, collectors will be watching to see how long this winning streak will last.

Stankoven has been on a scoring spree throughout the NHL playoffs. In helping the Carolina Hurricanes advance to the Eastern Conference finals, Stankoven scored an NHL-high seven times. The ‘Canes have swept back-to-back opponents, and if the 23-year-old center stays hot, Carolina could be back in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 2006.

Anthony Edwards
When the best go against the best, it can make for legendary outcomes. That seems to be the case between the Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference semifinals. The series is currently tied at 2-2, and Edwards has dropped 36 and 32 points in each of the past two games to keep the series within reach. If Minnesota pulls out the series win, collectors will certainly be interested in Edwards’ final numbers.

Jalen Brunson
In four seasons with the New York Knicks, Brunson has really found his groove, and that’s continued throughout this year’s postseason. Brunson and the Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers out of the Eastern Conference field, and Brunson notched two games of 30+ points along the way. After a 53-win season, New York will be looking for its first NBA Finals appearance since 1999 — and to get there, Brunson will likely need to keep scoring at a blistering pace.
