Beckett Sports Cards Hot/Cold List for the Week of March 2, 2026
Welcome to the weekly Beckett Sports Card Hot/Cold list, where we take a quick and fun look at what’s hot and what’s not in the worlds of sports and sports cards over the last week.

The Hot List
Cooper Flagg
Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Flagg hasn’t played since February 10 due an injury, but collectors haven’t slowed down their quest for his cards. He remains one of the top sellers on secondary marketplaces as he enjoys a fantastic rookie season that may go down as one of the best ever for a teenager. It seems his return to action is near, and collectors certainly can’t wait to see him on the hardwood again.

Konnor Griffin
It’s not often that a teenager has the skills necessary to become a major-league regular, but Griffin is doing everything he can to prove he deserves a chance. The 19-year-old has three spring training home runs already, and they haven’t been cheap shots. As the top prospect in the game, according to MLB Pipeline, Griffin was already commanding attention, but if his hot spring continues, even more collectors will be taking notice.

Kon Knueppel
Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Knueppel broke the record for 3-pointers made in a season by a rookie last week, and there is still a lot of season left. The sharp-shooting phenom enters the week with a league-leading 211 3s through 60 games. And the rest of the league — like collectors — is taking notice: “He can obviously shoot the ball at a high level,” said Stephen Curry, the all-time single-season record holder for 3-pointers made.

Roman Anthony
Anthony is only 21 years old, but he’s about to add another section to his baseball résumé — World Baseball Classic representative. Anthony will join Team USA as an injury replacement, giving the Red Sox standout an even higher profile as he enters his second big-league season.

Cade Cunningham
Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥
Cunningham has six straight double-doubles for the Pistons as they continue to steamroll the Eastern Conference. Cunningham‘s efforts helped lead Detroit to wins over Oklahoma City, Cleveland, and Orlando in the last three games, putting the rest of the East on notice that the playoffs are going to be tough if the Pistons are on the other side of the court.

Anthony Edwards
In the Western Conference, one of the hottest teams at the moment is the Minnesota Timberwolves, thanks in large part to Edwards. He poured in 40 points in a recent win over the Mavericks, upping his season scoring average to 29.5 points per game. If he continues at this pace, he will establish a new career-high for single-game scoring for a sixth straight season.

Zach Werenski
While Jack Hughes carried a ton of attention following his “Golden Goal” at the Winter Olympics, Werenski played a pretty pivotal role, assisting on that goal. He was recognized by the Columbus Blue Jackets upon his return to the NHL last week, and he’s assisted on three goals in two games since.

Fernando Mendoza
What team will draft Mendoza? That’s a question that’s going to be asked many times over the next two months. After emerging as a bona fide prospect by leading Indiana to an unexpected national championship last season, Mendoza has drawn plenty of interest from NFL fans, many of whom would love to see him suit up for their favorite team this fall.

Sam Bennett
Bennett has come out of the Olympic break with an eye for the net. The veteran center has scored three times and assisted on two other goals in the first three games back for the Florida Panthers. Prior to returning to the NHL, he helped Canada win the silver medal at the Olympics, and he’ll now focus on getting to 30 goals and 60 points for the season — which would both mark career-high totals.

Larry Allison- I’m not sure what you’re looking for but I just recently inherited those three decades worth of a sports card collection that I’m looking to sell. I’m willing to price everything very reasonably as I don’t have much experience with this and would like to see them go to a good home.
Hello and good day!
How can I find out what my cards are worth?
Hi Laura,
The Beckett Online Price Guide would be a good place to start: https://www.beckett.com/online-price-guide
