Welcome to the weekly Beckett Sports Card Hot/Cold list, where we take quick and fun look at what’s hot and what’s not in the worlds of sports and sports cards over the last week.

The Hot List

Cal Raleigh

Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Raleigh’s offensive exploits have catapulted him to stardom in 2025, but the Mariners catcher remains focused on the little things, rather than his home run totals. More important than stats, Raleigh said, are “winning tonight’s game, taking each pitch one by one and taking care of business at 7 o’clock, rather than trying to control everything all at once.”

Jayden Daniels

As the Washington Commanders open training camp this week, much of the attention will be focused on Daniels, the electrifying quarterback entering his second season. The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year hopes to push Washington to another landmark campaign after making the NFC Championship game last season.

Pete Crow-Armstrong

In case anyone wondered if Crow-Armstrong’s strong first half was a fluke, he put the idea to rest right after the All-Star break. PCA launched a homer and stole a base in the second game after the Midsummer Classic, tying Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg for the fourth-most home runs in a season by a Cubs player with at least 25 stolen bases.

Cooper Flagg

Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Flagg averaged 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game during the NBA Summer League, and while he didn’t play in every game, many pundits still expect the No. 1 overall draft pick to open the regular season as the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.

Kyle Schwarber

Schwarber has always powered home runs, and he smashed a memorable one during the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. With the score tied 6-6 after nine innings, the American and National League sent three sluggers each to the plate for the first-ever tie-breaking Home Run Derby-style swing off, and Schwarber’s three bombs sealed the deal for the NL’s victory and earned him MVP honors.

Bucky Irving

After becoming Tampa Bay’s first rookie rusher to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in over a decade, Irving is looking for more in Year 2. Irving recently said he has focused on “not getting satisfied and stuck in last year, because it’s a new year. Nobody cares about what you did last year. It’s, ‘What can you do for me now?'” Collectors will be watching to see what kind of season that mindset equates to.

Napheesa Collier

Collier set a WNBA record with 36 points during the All-Star Game, another shining moment in what’s becoming a huge campaign. With 23.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, the Minnesota Lynx standout has positioned herself as one of the leading MVP favorites one year after finishing as the runner-up in the voting.

Brad Marchand

The Boston Bruins traded Marchand to the Florida Panthers in the middle of last season, which helped the Panthers hoist the Stanley Cup. After spending 15 1/2 years in Boston, we now know he will return to TD Garden as an opponent for the first time on October 21 thanks to the NHL’s recent 2025-26 schedule release.

Gavin McKenna

The 17-year-old McKenna recently made the stunning announcement that he would play at Penn State this season instead of skating through another campaign in the Canadian Hockey League. Barring unforeseen circumstances, he is widely expected to be taken No. 1 overall in the 2026 NHL Draft.

I do not buy sports baseball cards or any football on the other kind of sports memorabilia because the companies are taking advantage of the people who like to collect the prices are too too high lower than for the people can afford in the kids can have fun
