Beckett Sports Cards Hot and Cold List June 24, 2025

Pete Crow-Armstrong
If you’ve been selling Pete Crow-Armstrong cards on the secondary market, then you know his cards have been selling really well for a while. Collectors are scooping up his Bowman Chrome and Topps Chrome cards at a great rate. The young Cubs talent had a shaky rookie season in 2024 after a 13-game call up in 2023. His sophomore season is trending towards greatness with 21 dingers in 77 games with 61 RBIs.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Regular season scoring leader, regular season MVP, NBA Finals MVP… nothing else needs to be said.
Cal Raleigh
Cal Raleigh is one of those players that collectors will need to dive back into previous sets to see if they have his cards. A third-round pick in 2018 out of Florida State, Raleigh’s path to the MLB fan consciousness has been slow. Called up in 2021, the power has been there for the “Big Dumper” but the average at the plate has lacked. After a Gold Glove season in 2024, Raleigh is hitting for power (32 homers) and average (.278) on the way to his first All-Star selection.
Jalen Williams
The third year forward out of Santa Clara is finally getting his due thanks to OKC’s run through the 2025 playoffs. An NBA first team All-Rookie in 2023 and an All-Star in 2025, Williams is growing his fan base. SGA may get the big spotlight, but Williams is a proven scorer averaging 21.6 points per game during the 2024-25 season.
Sophie Cunningham
A standout at the University of Missouri earning first team All-Conference honors three times (2017-19), after five seasons with Phoenix, Cunningham is gaining additional notoriety playing alongside Caitlin Clark. Cunningham’s best professional statistical season was in 2022 putting up 12.6 points per game while grabbing 4.4 rebounds. Cunningham is averaging 5.6 points and 4.5 rebounds this season with the Indiana Fever.
Saquon Barkley
Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2018 and NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2024, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, and the NFL’s rushing leader in 2024 (2,005 yards, 13 TDs)… what else is there to say? Oh yeah, Super Bowl LIX Champion with the Philadelphia Eagles!
Jordan Love
Green Bay’s history with producing future Hall of Fame QBs is extended to Love. Drafted 26th overall in 2020, Love played the waiting game until 2023 becoming the Packers’ full-time starter. He showed off spinning the pigskin for 4,159 yards with 32 scores. 2024 was a dip in production, playing in two less games, covering 3,389 yards in the air with 25 touchdowns. In 2023 and 2024, Love was stopped at nine wins. Already a breakout success, fans are looking for that next level talent in 2025.
Sam Bennett
Building his following with the Calgary Flames (2015-21), Bennett has found success with the Florida Panthers. The Panthers have won back-to-back Stanley Cups and three of the franchise’s four conference championships with Bennett on the ice.
Sam Reinhart
Drafted in 2014 by the Buffalo Sabres, seemingly a lifetime in the NHL, Reinhart is still only 29 years old. The forward got the extra exposure Stanley Cup winning teams get building his following with the Florida Panthers.
Cold
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Fans cooling on Harrison is more about the time of year than the player. After back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons with Ohio State (2022-23), Harrison did not disappoint as a rookie catching 62 passes for 885 yards with eight receiving TDs.
Nolan Arenado
Fans are cooling on the St. Louis Cardinals third baseman right in the middle of a hot streak. Arenado has seen a decline in his pop and batting average over the last couple of years, but it appears he will surpass his ’24 power numbers this season. Over his last 15 games, Arenado is hitting .304 with three homers.
Joel Embiid
The 76ers’ center makes the cold list for a second week in a row. A seven-time All-Star and the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2023; Embiid can still play when healthy.
