The Hot List
Cooper Flagg
The Dallas Mavericks selected Flagg as the top overall pick in the NBA Draft, and he became the second-youngest player to receive the honor – second only to LeBron James, the overall pick in 2003. The Duke product is expected to contend for Rookie of the Year honors and will give the Mavericks a boost going into the 2025-26 season.

Cal Raleigh
The Seattle Mariners catcher continues to mash home runs, and fans will get to see him on the national stage in July when he takes swings during the annual Home Run Derby. Already with one of the most powerful first halves in major-league history, Raleigh could be in line to break some records if he continues at this pace.

Jacob Misiorowski
After opening his career with 11 hitless innings across two starts, Misiorowski became the talk of baseball. Now, he’s become one of the betting favorites for National League Rookie of the Year honors – though it’s a crowded field. The NL Central Division is likewise tightly packed for now. Will Misiorowski give Milwaukee what it needs to take the crown?

Tarik Skubal
Skubal hasn’t lost a game since April 2. With 10 straight wins, the American League’s reigning Cy Young Award winner looks better than ever, especially after a 13-strikeout performance to close out June gave him a perfect 5-0 record for the month.

Dylan Harper
As the second overall pick in the NBA Draft, Harper gained a lot of buzz on his way to the San Antonio Spurs. The 6-foot-6 guard is the son of five-time NBA champion Rod Harper, so he will bring a competitive pedigree to San Antonio, where he will team up with generational talent Victor Wembanyama.

Brian Thomas Jr.
Thomas hauled in 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns last year as a rookie for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he is looking for more in his sophomore season. His strong mini-camp with the Jags was best summed up by head coach Liam Coen: “He’s got freakish talents. He’s got some freakish traits.”

Pete Crow-Armstrong
Fans have been loving the breakout season of Pete Crow-Armstrong. Already with 20+ homers and 20+ steals, PCA was the leading vote-getter among National League outfielders in initial All-Star voting, and he will likely be a key cog in the Cubs machine throughout the second half.

Maxx Crosby
The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off three straight losing seasons, but a bright spot is defensive end Maxx Crosby, who has established himself as arguably the best pass rusher in the NFL. They say defense wins championships, so as Crosby hits his prime, he will look to anchor the defense while the Raiders try to turn things around.

Matthew Schaefer
The New York Islanders made Schaefer the top overall pick in the NHL Draft. The 17-year-old defenseman made a name for himself in Canada and will now skate around the biggest city in America. Expected to be a solid two-way threat, Schaefer will be a focus of hockey collectors when the 2025-26 release calendar kicks off.
