Fanatics Collect announced on Thursday that it had brokered a private sale of Aaron Judge’s 2013 Bowman Chrome Draft Picks Autographs Superfractor for $5.2 million, making it the highest modern-day baseball card sale of all-time.

The sale eclipsed the $3.936 million paid for Mike Trout’s 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospects Autographs Superfractor in August 2020.

Judge’s 1/1 Superfractor earned a BGS 9.5 GEM MINT designation, including two 10 subgrades for its surface and centering. His hard-signed autograph also received a pristine 10 grade in its Beckett assessment.

“We’re incredibly honored to have brokered this record-breaking deal — and to be part of such a momentous moment in hobby history,” Fanatics Collect said in a statement. “As a company, we value our deep relationships with our collectors, with both their trust and our expertise allowing us to continue to help set sale records in the months and years to come.”

Judge, a three-time MVP and the American League’s all-time leader for single-season home runs, has become one of the most collected players in the modern industry throughout his 10-year tenure with the New York Yankees.

Another of his Judge’s most coveted cards is currently at auction, and it may eclipse the price paid for this card.

The 2025 Topps Chrome Dual Gold Logoman Autograph Relics Aaron Judge/Shohei Ohtani 1/1 card is currently at auction with Fanatics Collect until March 19. At the time of this writing, bidding had reached $1 million.
