The previous Beckett Basketball Hot List was somewhat of an anomaly. Several late ’80s and mid ’90s cards peppered the Top 20 as the “Last Dance” influence was in full effect. Many of those have been dropped from the new list as their values leveled off (or even slightly dropped) after a substantial price spike. Lacking in newer releases with a heavy emphasis on older, preferred brand superstar rookie cards, the upcoming Hot List is a bit unusual as well.
