Tom: Because this is ultimately ending up in the next Beckett Baseball magazine. That question and its result will be old news by then.

Well, as I write this the Royals are blasting to a game 7. As a Sol Cal Padres fan…I have to root for the Giants.
As for the cards…I was collecting the Willies, Juan and Orlando, before the Royals ever existed. I was a big Brett fan in the 80’s; but Ken didn’t have too many cards.
Buster is the current player on either team I pick up, Have four Prizm Gold cards #/10 of Gordon, Hosmer, Moustakas and Aoki of the Royals, thought I had a fair price for super rare, great looking cards. Maybe slightly over price, apparently.

Why oh why would anyone (other than Marlins guy) want a card of Marlins guy? Topps should give him a Bunt card just so we can be sure what is the most useless card ever made. A non-card of someone who has never contributed to the game in any way, shape or form.

And yet he’s been talked about so much … and written about so much … fascinating, ain’t it?
