There is a slight change to the autograph schedule at the 2012 National Sports Collectors Convention.

Jim Palmer, Red SchoendienstJack Youngblood, Jennie Finch and Frank Robinson will not be signing, according to tweets by TRISTAR Productions’ official account.

Palmer and Finch  will not appear because of scheduling conflict.

Schoendienst (Friday), Youngblood (Thursday) and Robinson will not be there because of health issues.

Refunds or exchanges will be handled at the Autograph Tickets booth in the Autograph Pavilion at the National.

“TRISTAR and these gentlemen are extremely sorry that they are unable to appear at the National and for any inconvenience,” TRISTAR tweeted.

While I understand that things happen to all of us, it would have been really nice to know more than a day before if a signer wasn’t going to be able to make it due to a scheduling conflict (since schedules are usually things that are known ahead of time). I hope the health issues are nothing major for Red and Rick.

“TRISTAR and these gentlemen are extremely sorry that they are unable to appear at the National and for any inconvenience”

I guess Jennie Finch wasn’t extremely sorry.
