3 Shining Stars of 2019 Panini Prizm Baseball – Beckett Pricing Insider


In recent years, the Panini Prizm brand has become a powerhouse in the basketball card market. Panini is hoping they can ride this success into baseball once again. Back as a standalone product for the first time since 2015 (the 2018 and 2017 Panini Prizm cards were inserted in packs of the Panini Chronicles packs), 2019 Panini Prizm Baseball was released on May 15.

Let’s take a look three key early sales from one of the most colorful products of the year.

2019 Panini Prizm Rookie Autographs Prizms Forest Green Flash #33 Fernando Tatis Jr. /5 – $300

Fernando Tatis Jr. appears on 17 different cards in 2019 Panini Prizm, all of which feature a certified autograph. While this low-numbered parallel set one collector back $300, his basic 2019 Panini Prizm Rookie Autographs card can be found for around $20.

2019 Panini Prizm Prizms Gold #192 Mike Trout /10 – $130

There are 54 different Mike Trout cards in the product, including a base card, 27 parallels, eight inserts and 18 parallel inserts. That’s a lot of color to collect if you’re a Trout collector. Though this sale was of the Prizm Gold parallel of his base card, a 2019 Panini Prizm Fireworks Prizms Gold Trout– also serial numbered to 10 – recently sold for $70.

2019 Panini Prizm Prizms Forest Green Flash #169 Ronald Acuna Jr. /5 – $125

Ronald Acuna has 41 different 2019 Panini Prizm Baseball cards, 20 of which feature a serial number. In addition to his base card its 27 associated parallels, Acuna appears on four insert cards, including in the 2019 Panini Prizm Color Blast set, which might be one of the best-looking insert sets in recent years.

    I have inherited a lot baseball cards ( Nolen Ryan is one of them have a whole book of them and many more znd have some racing cards Dale Earnhardt. Is one if them was just wondering what they may sell for .Thank you for your help
